AVIF to JPG

Convert supported AVIF images into JPEG files on your device.

How to use AVIF to JPG

  1. Select one or more supported AVIF image files.
  2. Choose JPEG quality and convert; decoding uses browser support or the bundled local decoder.
  3. Review the output dimensions and file sizes, then download the JPEG images or ZIP.

What this tool does

AVIF support depends on your browser.

Example

A supported still AVIF at 1600 by 900 pixels can be exported as a JPEG at the same pixel dimensions; quality changes compression, not the dimensions.

Frequently asked questions

Can every AVIF file be converted?

No. Damaged files and unsupported AVIF variants can fail to decode. The tool reports an error instead of changing the filename and claiming a conversion.

What happens to animation and transparency?

This version exports a still frame. JPEG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white; HDR or color-profile appearance may also change.
